What  seemed  like  the  end  became  the  beginning  of  a  journey.   Having experienced first hand all we vouch for,  IM Kahlo doulas help guide  the  way to those in need of support. 

IM Kahlo began supporting women ages 15 and up endure the not-widely-known side effects caused by cancer treatment that leave a negative mark on a patient’s state of mind, like the the loss of eyebrows and lashes, and the potential damage of skin and teeth. Working with these patients, and as a patient myself, I identified another need: We need to learn how to celebrate life by talking about death. 

Our work with people, not just cancer patients, thrives in getting comfortable talking about death and sharing their end of life wishes with their loved ones. We are also an avid advocates for patient rights.  

I aim to lead by example. meditate, do yoga, keep in touch with  friends, explore, and take our time to heal and rest. Because a stage IV diagnose is not a death sentence; it is a life ticket. ¡Viva la vida!
